Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hattavick (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Hattavick is a marketplace and toolset for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs). The Platform includes:

  • The Lab — creator tools for building game systems, stat blocks, character sheets, and campaign modules
  • Campaign Tools — session management, lore tracking, character progression, and collaborative note-taking
  • VTT Battlemap — a virtual tabletop for running live game sessions with maps, tokens, fog of war, and dice
  • Marketplace — a storefront where creators sell ready-to-play campaign modules

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform (game systems, campaign modules, maps, characters, lore, etc.). By publishing content on the Marketplace, you grant Hattavick a non-exclusive license to distribute, display, and promote that content on the Platform.

Platform content: The Hattavick name, logo, UI design, and underlying software are the property of Hattavick. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Platform code or assets.

5. Marketplace Terms

Creators set their own prices for campaign modules. Revenue splits between creators and the Platform are defined in the creator agreement. Purchases are final unless the content is materially defective. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is hateful, illegal, or violates the rights of others
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Distribute malware or harmful content through uploaded files

7. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, characters, notes, Lab systems, and any campaigns where you are the sole member. See our Privacy Policy for details on data removal.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that content will always be available. During the alpha period, features may change or be removed without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hattavick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
